This entry in the Working hands series, takes you along for the process of making a set of very basic target arrows. They are made out of 5/16" Spruce shafts, with field-piles, and turkey fletching. As with all working hands videos, no talking no teaching. This is a video meant to show a slice of life in the workshop of a modern day Fletcher.

In this working hands video i work down the glued up shafts for footed arrows. These are planed down and then sanded ready to take the piles and fletchings

This video shows the process of making traditional wooden arrow shafts, but with the help of modern power tools. In this fashion, I can process a lot of stock material in an efficient manner. There is a lot of waste in this manner, but overall the time process makes it worth it.

This is the documentation of the making prosess of some 1" War arrows. These were made for the Norwegian fletchers championship. There is no historical data for these, just two friends having fun making rediculuos arrows. Note: The long bodkin arrow was shot 110m with a 100#@30" Yew bow during a flight competition.
